I’ve been using the Akira 50 curved thinning shears for over 2 years now. I have paid hundreds for a thinning shear, but they still are not quite like the Akira’s with the finish it leaves. I recommend all my groomer friends to get them, and those who have are hooked.

These shears are amazing if you are looking to perfect your Teddy heads or just heads In general this is the shear you want to use . The picture in my review the whole head was done with this shear trust me try it !

I love these shears! They are my go to for finishing up a great cut. They are always fantastically sharp and do a great job. I have been grooming for over 17 years, and having quality shears really saves my hands. The stay Fresh program is a must for any groomer! Thank you for a great product!

After a slight loosening, the Akira 50 Curves cut luxuriously. They aren’t wimpy thinning shears, they can definitely take some length off! Perfect for softening curves and hard edges around the face. I love the angled teeth, they allow for beautiful blending.

I’m O•B•S•E•S•S•E•D with these shears. I use them on every dog. They are workhorses and leave the softest finishing touches. I am especially adamant on using them on muzzles to leave that soft rounded touch that is Instagram worthy. Can’t recommend these enough!!! I also have two pairs. That’s how much I love these. Hehe
